We are a Premier Fitness Center located in downtown Costa Mesa, CA. Body Wise Fitness is a 5000 sq. ft. boutique gym and fitness center Co-Owned and operated by Gil and Laurel Yurly. Gil and Laurel were both competitive bodybuilders (Gil was Mr. California) and have a passion for health and fitness. They both take pride in the clean, friendly, and non-threatening atmosphere they have created here at Body Wise Fitness Center.

With over 45 machines for strength and conditioning, a large exercise floor, dual shower & locker rooms, and a great offering of services, we think you will fall in love with Body Wise Fitness Center and make it your home for all your fitness needs.

Clean and not busy. Great place to do your work out with out having to wait for machines. The building has 2 open roll doors, so it's well ventilated. Parking in front and in the property. Not the latest equipment but it's more than sufficient. Lockers and bathrooms available.The owner is friendly and helpful at times with suggestions on a few of the machines. He also offers training for those looking for motivation. Located close to downtown.

I absolutely loved training here. A clean well organized space with all the essential equipment for building a seriously tremendous physique. High quality machines and implements with a very relaxed atmosphere that allows you to really get into a serious mindset.

Body Wise Fitness is great. Owned by a former competitive bodybuilder, this place has everything and then some - plenty of free weights, benches, cables, machines, cardio equipment, etc… The gym and locker rooms are impeccably clean. Definitely one of the best gyms in Costa Mesa/Newport Beach

Awesome gym, was my first time there while on vacation. Staff was great! Met Gil who was very friendly and even gave me a towel since I didn’t have one! Gyms clean and wasn’t packed. Would recommend if you’re in the area.

I had a blast with my workout buddies at Body wise fitness. *Staffing is very professional *Gym is well organized and very clean *Equipment is in top notch condition *Has a variety of workout equipment that met all my exercise needs *No wait time on weight machines or free weights. I have buddy-trained with Laurel Hahn at Bodywise for years. She is amazing and the gym has everything you could need. Added bonus that it's never crowded.
